Forest Shelter Project (Schutzhütte Project) is a shelter constructed with and for schoolchildren of the Grund- und Oberschule (Elementary and High School) in Neuenkirchen, who are caretakers of the School Forest located in the vicinity of the village. The construction shelters schoolchildren against wind and rain, and it is a station for exploration of the School Forest and the Nature Forest, where the shelter is located.

The Forest Shelter Project is a collaboration between schoolchildren of the Grund- und Oberschule (Elementary and High School) in Neuenkirchen, and students of the of Design for the Living World Class at the HfBK Hamburg.
